MEP Idea By: Sheori

I've been thinking to myself lately and I've been thinking if I should do a MEP.... but the thing is, would anyone be interested? I know that Migole2000 would, she's the one that incouraged my idea more but I'm still a little unsure of it being a success in getting people to play a part in it.....
So what I'm asking is.... if I go with my idea, would anyone be interested?
Also, on another note..... I think a group of us on here should make a MEP vid to promote this site for more entainment and users/members^^ Just an idea, that is mainly up to you summerlost because if we do, do it, then I think you should be incharge of what song, how many people and when to do it.... Just throwing out an idea that I thought was good enough to share with the rest of you^^

From what I've seen and know, a MEP is a multiple edited presentation, basically a collab but with about 5 or more people offering a part for the whole thing^^

I figure a lot of you will use the Animal Movies, so I'd offer myself fo a little change in Pictures *g*
Collabs are always fun, but if so, they have to be organized. I once did a big collab, probably already a MEP without knowing it. I chose the song for a topic everyone liked and then sorted the scenes out with clips that might come easy from their artists - seeing they're video styles. I then made an individual clip for everyone, where I muted the whole song expect for their part and sent it to them... xD
The actual challenge of this collab was that no one expect for me knew what the other was up to, it was quite fun *g* - for me though it was more a handicap than an advantage, becuase I knew I couldn't use half of the clips anymore that I wanted to use, because they were already TAKEN! *grrr* xD
I figure no one cares about this, but I felt like telling that now anyway xD

Wow thanks for sharing levy^^ but I still feel like letting everyone doing as they wanted^^ I actually want to use new material as soon as I finish the videos I've already started on but I really want to do this idea, but like I said, the website mep is mainly up to summerlost's decision....

First off, I'm really happy that you agree and secondly, I think that we should do the MEP for the promoting with the video parts you've already got, if you have vid makers block then sure enough, I am sure that everyone would love to contribute a part to help out^^
Now, about my MEP... don't you worry^^ I completely understand, I have about 12 other vids started and nowhere near finished, so I understand what you mean^^ Maybe to make up for it we can try to do a collab maybe?
Anywho, you just do what you need to do, okay? You've already done alot for us anyway by making this place!^^

Technically an "editors block" is no argument against working on a Collab for, especially on an MEP when you have about 3 minutes as standard time of a song and already 6 people want to work on it... the part you will get will be TINY! You have all the clipchoice you want to AND on the risk of repeating myself again, you're part will be TINY! It'll be sooner finished than you know and if you don't watch yourself, you might even make more than you're allowed to (happened to me once, because I'm a dork - and that's basically the reason why I muted the rest of the song back then for my partners).
A MEP part doesn't even take a long time, at the very MOST a day (which wasn't the case back then with me because I was lacking clips like crazy and was lazy and just a DORK - which won't be the case here because you said we can do whatever we please - no clip-lacking wohoot!)
Except of course you see this MEP as a battle and want your part to be the very best and explodig with effects until you cannot recognize the clips anymore which in this case wouldn't even be a good thing, so...
Here are my 2 cents... xD

Thank you, I completely understand what your saying, so why don't we just cut the song into parts and send them out? Thats what me and KittyKraz13 did for our collab we did. I just think this would easier for us all, don't you agree? Also I understand the part size and I don't mind having a small part if everyone else feels the same.

Yey, i totally agree, this editors block and no motivation is the all hells of the world, thats why i was so inactive...
P.S. MEP is is a good idea ^^
